Recipe for energy balls

Right now, we’re all at home a lot, moving less, and snacking from time to time. Are you looking for a healthy snack? We have something for you. Here comes the recipe for energy balls, the healthy candy bar alternative.

 

What you need:

250 g of pitted dates

2 tablespoons baking cocoa

2 – 3 tablespoons ground almonds

50 g almonds

Some maple syrup

Optional chia seeds

Optional peanut butter (preferably one that is not too sweet.)

 

It is that simple:

Put everything in the blender and form balls. Done!

Optional: Flatten the balls again and put some peanut butter on top, press the ends together and roll up again.

Enjoy!
