Unless you live a completely zero waste lifestyle, you’re bound to have some canned goods at home from time to time. Where to put them? Well, just keep them and paint them. This works only with a limited amount of cans, but is still practical and looks good.
Get rid of the label, clean the tin can and be careful so you don’t cut yourself! You can use the decorated cans as pen holders, flower pots or to store other odds and ends. And if you prefer it a bit less colorful: With a neutral color and some yarn, the cans also look very chic! Of course you can also use some other materials to decorate your can. Shells you found on the beach for example. Just glue them on and you have a cute nautical themed bin.
