The seeds are sown, and the first sprouts are already coming out of the ground. Especially at this time, plants are difficult to identify. There is only one solution: plant labels are needed!
Boring and environmentally harmful signs made of plastic should not be in your sustainable garden. Instead, get a little creative with your signs.
Broken plates or shards of clay, for example, are a good place to start – but also, of course, prone to breaking.
If you’re worried about that, you might want to switch to signs made from wood scraps. With a little glaze and wax, you can make the wood weather-resistant without having to use environmentally harmful paints.
With water-resistant paint or simply a pen, you can then inscribe your signs.
If you prefer something more extravagant, then you can, of course, engrave the signs or decorate them with symbols.
