Yale’s Urban Meadows

Yale University’s Urban Meadow project encompasses seven meadows created over the past two years, with more on the way. Each of the meadows is mown just a few times a year, allowing for native wildflowers and grasses to flourish. Among the project’s many benefits: increased biodiversity, improved air quality, reduced stormwater runoff and erosion and learning opportunities. Learn more about the program here.
